Uranium Energy Corp Appoints Ernst and Young as Auditor

AUSTIN, TX – June 18, 2007 – Uranium Energy Corp (OTCBB: URME) (Frankfurt: U6Z) (Berlin: U6Z) has appointed Ernst and Young, chartered accountants, as the Company's auditor effective as of June 12, 2007. Dale Matheson Carr-Hilton LaBonte LLP, chartered accountants, of Vancouver, BC, Canada, (DMCL), will no longer act as the Company's auditor effective as of June 12, 2007.
The Company wishes to thank DMCL for its years of service. Ernst and Young’s appointment as Uranium Energy Corp’s auditors addresses the Company’s need to increase the scope and international presence of its professional service providers.
